Account and workspace information
Sign-in supplies your account identifier, email and optional display name. We use these to link access and saved employers, applications and saved tool drafts to your account. CV and application content you choose to save is used to provide those tools. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information.
Vacancy alerts
If you choose to join vacancy alerts, we store your email address and any profession or location preferences you provide. We use this information only to send relevant vacancy and service updates with your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time using an email link or by contacting us. Joining alerts is separate from creating an account and is never automatic.
Browser-local drafts
Unsaved builder text is temporary and may be lost if browser data is cleared. Use the save or export control before leaving when one is available.
Payments and support
Stripe processes payment details. We retain payment references, purchased plan and expiry information to provide access and resolve payment issues; our site does not receive full card details. We use support correspondence to answer your request.
Purposes and legal bases
Providing accounts and purchased tools relies on performance of the contract. Required accounting records rely on legal obligations. Service security and responding to enquiries may rely on legitimate interests. Vacancy emails and optional usage measurement rely on your consent.
Optional analytics
With permission, we count daily visitors, visits, page views, tool visits, sign-in starts and selected campaign categories. A random browser identifier and a browser-session identifier are converted into different one-way hashes for each day before storage, so the daily report does not contain a person-by-person browsing history. We record the page path but not its search terms. We do not send CV text, job descriptions, employer search text, private notes, email addresses or account identifiers to the analytics endpoint. People who decline are not included. Daily unique hashes are retained for up to 31 days and aggregate page totals for up to 395 days.
Cookies and choices
Email sign-in uses essential HTTP-only access and rotating refresh cookies. The short-lived access cookie lasts up to one hour; the refresh cookie can remain for up to 400 days and is renewed while the underlying Supabase session remains valid. A verification cookie lasts up to one hour. These are required to keep accounts secure and are not used for advertising. The privacy-preference and optional anonymous visitor cookies last up to six months; a visit identifier is kept only in session storage. Use Privacy preferences in the footer to decline or withdraw optional measurement, which removes the optional visitor and visit identifiers from that browser.
Providers and retention
Supabase provides email/password authentication, Zoho delivers account and opted-in vacancy emails, our hosting platform stores workspace, alert preferences and first-party analytics records, and Stripe processes payments. These providers process information needed to operate the service. Passwords are handled by Supabase and are not stored in the website database. Alert details are retained while the alert is active or until deletion is requested. We do not sell your information or automatically subscribe you to marketing.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, or object to processing. You can withdraw consent for vacancy emails or optional measurement. Contact support for a request or complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
